Kiva Microlending

Because we are a group of diverse young professionals with different passions, we get the chance to support the endeavors and passions of our members.  It is for this reason that Rotaract | SLO has created a team through Kiva to help support and better the lives of individuals around the world.

Awarded a 70/70 for accountability and transparency by Charity Navigator, “Kiva is a non -profit organization with a mission to connect people through lending to alleviate poverty.  Leveraging the Internet and a world wide network of microfinance institutions, Kiva let’s individuals lend as little as $25 to help create opportunity around the world.”  For more information about Kiva, please check out their website.

Rotaract | SLO has seen the good that can come from helping and giving to others to help them succeed and prosper. We’ve joined the 1.5 million Kiva users, and created a team, Rotaract | SLO.  Members of Rotaract | SLO and Rotarians can join our team, and together we can all help to make the lives of others a little easier, a little better, and a little more successful.
